JOB PURPOSE
The Accounting officer is responsible for providing support to the head of the accounting in accordance with the company policies and procedures most especially in doing exceptional work in the collection of delinquent accounts, maintaining client's records, prepares follow-up.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Keep a record of all payment transactions of the Buyer
• Provide monthly updates to all buyers regarding the status of payment and accounts due for cancellation.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports of all collection
• Analyze and recommend accounts due for cancellation to all concerned departments including buyer and brokers.
• Accept and record construction bonds and identify items for a refund
• Reconcile with buyers in case of discrepancies
• Review and manage liquidations and reimbursement expenses
• Verifies, processes, and audits invoices, purchase orders etc.
• Create and update expense reports
• Prepare and facilitate online posting of all government-mandated benefits and premiums for employees
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits
• Performs related tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Education
- Preferably a graduate of 4-year course with BSC/BA Accounting/ Business Management or any equivalent course
• Training and Certifications
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Willing to work from Monday - Saturday 8am-5pm at Pasong Buaya II Imus, Cavite
- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk (an advantage)
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures is an advantage
- Has high regard for customer service and client handling
- Can communicate well (verbally and in writing)
- Has above average understanding of the collection process
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Aries)
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and analytical
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
1 year of experience
Language(s): English ,Tagalog
Knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Cost analysis, Customer service, Accounting, Finances
Availability to travel: Yes
