Accounting Officer, cpaGlobal Care Cancer Institute, Inc., Bay, Laguna

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement Accounting policies, procedures and workflow
Oversee the daily operation of the Institute's Finance Department
Assign tasks and direct accounting subordinates, so as to ensure operational needs is met
Ensure Institute's compliance with BIR regarding tax law
Oversee financial bookkeeping and records of the Institute
Coordinate and assist third party auditors (annual)
Contribute to the development and review of annual operating budget and performance projection
Ensure that Institute's book of accounts is in compliance with the Philippine Financial Reporting System
Perform regular financial audit within Finance Department to ensure accuracy of financial documents, expenditures and investments
Responsible in proper coordination with the Local Banks for any credit availment
Review accounting reports, tax payments, returns and audits (as scheduled)
Oversee safekeeping of financial records
Report to the Chief Finance Officer on the performance of the Finance Department & any need for improvement
Lead the annual inventory of all the infrastructure of the Institute
Assist the Chief Finance Officer in closing the book of accounts (month-end and year-end)
Communicate with all Finance staff regarding new development in the Department and conduct employee evaluations
Support in hiring of staff for Finance Department
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Skills and Qualifications:
Graduate of BS Accountancy with CPA license
Proven experience as Accounting Officer or similar role
Knowledge and competency in accounting principles, methodologies and processes
Broad knowledge on Philippine taxation
