Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts. Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and other relevant guidelines.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets. Provide financial insights and support in the forecasting process.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage the external audit process. Ensure all audit requirements are met, and implement recommendations for process improvements.
Tax Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in tax regulations and ensure the company's compliance. Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax returns.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in an Accounting Manager role.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and taxation laws.
Strong understanding of internal controls and financial best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledgable in SAP accounting software
