KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sets up and formulates policies, systems and procedures and workflow to facilitate the efficient and effective flow of financial transactions and maintain the accuracy and integrity of reports and data in the financial system.
Supervises staff and oversees their adherence to generally accepted accounting standards and principles.
Assists in the timely preparation of complex financial statements and management reports.
Analyses cost and distribute overhead costs to various business units and coordinates with department heads to discuss and solve accounting concerns.
Assists in budget preparation by formulating accounting budget and projected financial statements.
Manages the timely remittances and filing of mandated government taxes and returns and ensures the company's compliance to different government and regulatory agencies.
Collaborate with external auditors to address audit findings.
Reviews confidential and regular payroll prepared by the HR Personnel.
Assist in costing for company's new identified products.
Prepares cost-benefit analysis for new transaction that will be identified
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
At least five years experience in supervisory capacity
Knowledgeable in Accounting practices, Financial reporting, Government statutory requirements and Financial legislations
Must be accurate in information for financial reports, journals and ledgers
Maintain strict confidential of information acquired in the performance of job
