JOB DESCRIPTION
Our company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a CPA certification to join our team. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the accounting team and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
Ensure all financial reports are accurate, timely and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Manage the month-end and year-end close process
Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budget variance analysis
Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Work with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and maintain relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
Manage and mentor accounting staff and provide training and development opportunities
JOB QUALIFICATION
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
CPA certification required
At least 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office
