i Screamery, a premier soft serve and frozen yogurt café in Davao City, is in search of a dedicated Accounting Staff. The role encompasses daily accounting tasks, conducting internal store audits, preparing employee payroll, managing monthly government-mandated contributions (SSS, Philhealth, Pag-ibig), and supervising the procurement of materials. Additional primary responsibilities include submitting periodic financial and audit reports to management and ensuring timely tax payments and compliance. Ideal candidates should have a degree in a business-related course, with special consideration for Accounting Technology graduates. A proficiency in accounting software, strong analytical abilities, and a keen understanding of tax obligations are essential. Accounting Duties: Handle day-to-day accounting tasks; including: bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, POS encoding, and budget management.
Internal Audits: Conduct regular audits of our store to ensure adherence to financial procedures and integrity. Report findings and recommend improvements.
Payroll Management: Timely and accurate preparation of payroll for employees. Ensure all necessary deductions are computed and remitted correctly.
Monthly Contributions: Manage and ensure the timely payment of government-mandated contributions such as SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-ibig.
Procurement: Oversee the procurement process for materials from different suppliers. Ensure timely acquisition of quality products at the best possible price.
Reporting and Tax Compliance: Submit periodic financial and audit reports to the management. Handle and ensure timely tax payments and compliance with local regulations.
Marketing Materials Creation: Capturing customer photos and creating marketing content as approved by management.
