JOB DESCRIPTION
The Accounting Associate for Receivables is responsible for encoding and posting collections in the Accounting system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensures all collections are posted on a timely basis,
2. Matches sales invoices and payments received in the accounting system,
3. Coordinates and reconcile discrepancies with Credit and Collections Department
4. Reconciles bank deposits against reported collections,
5. Ensures that documentations are complete and properly filed for archiving and audit purposes,
6. Prepare related reports as required,
7. Perform other duties as required.
Job Specifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Accounting Technology is required
· 1 year experience is desired; fresh graduate with good records maybe considered
· Understanding of accounting principles and standards
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
· Knowledge of any accounting software is desired (Quickbooks, NAV, SAP)
· Can work independently and with a team
· Strong attention to details
· Can learn independently and with a team.
