We are currently looking for an Accounting Associate to support our client based in the US.

What is the job?
Responsible for the following:
Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.
Audits invoices against purchase orders, researches discrepancies, and approves for payment.
Reviews checks, account statements, reports, and other records for accuracy
Reconciles bank statements and general ledger accounts
Compiles cost reports, revenue, and balance sheet
Prepares quarterly and monthly sales tax filings
Assists employees and customers with questions related to their accounts
Accounts payable and receivables
What you bring to the job?
At least 2 years of accounting experience
Comfortable in working with US-based client
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel (can use Excel basic functions such as simple formulas and produce accounting reports)
At least 1 year of experience in Quickbooks
Can work on a nightshift
