ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE
 
Position Summary and Qualification:
1-2 years experience as an Accounting Associate
Bachelor's/College Degree - in Accounting
Good written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data.
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Generate reports detailing accounts payables status including progress billings to contractors.
Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes, expense accounts and cost centers.
Compilation of documentation related to released payments to suppliers/employees/government agencies.
Assist in filing of released Check Vouchers and ensuring the completeness of documentation.
Assist in month-end closing activities thru preparation of accruals of recurring expenses.
Assist in Interim and Year end Audit.
Other tasks assigned from time to time.
