SUMMARY OF ROLE
SunPower is seeking a Project-Based Accountant to support the Financial Reporting 10-Q/10-K filing for the Corporate Accounting Services Team supporting US HQ here in the Philippines. The Accountant reports to the Corporate Accounting Services Manager and will be responsible for providing support to the Financial Reporting requirements that the Lead Accountant renders to the US Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Supports in preparing financial statements, footnote disclosures, and other financial data and specific disclosures under US GAAP.
Coordinates with corporate finance departments, operational finance teams and external auditors regarding financial reporting-related deliverables.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Preferred requirements
Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably CPA
US GAAP accounting knowledge
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-faced and dynamic environment
OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION (optional)
The employee would report at SunPower's ROHQ Building in LTI, Binan City
This is a project-based position.
