ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE - AP COMMISSION/INCENTIVES (CEBU BASED)
 
JOB SUMMARY
 
The Accounts Payable Associate - Commissions & Incentives is accountable for the following which include, but not limited to: 
Timely and accurate posting of commissions and incentives transactions to the accounting systems to ensure proper  monitoring of payments 
Proper monitoring of commissions and incentives, ensuring that only those qualified are submitted for release c) Updating of monitoring files related to the abovementioned transactions 
Proper processing of requests for payment or refunds of construction bonds,
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 
GENERAL ACCOUNTING
Ensures timely and accurate processing of commissions and  incentives 
Timely update of monitoring files related to commissions and  incentives
Ensures that there are no double payments for commissions and  incentives
Timely and accurate processing of requests for payment for the  refund of homeowner construction bonds
Ensures timely month-end closing procedures are completed ∙ Maintains a systematic and organized filing of sales agent ledgers  with all supporting documents
INTERNAL CONTROL
Ensures only qualified accounts for commissions/incentives are  processed and submitted for payment release 
Ensures check and balance to prevent duplicate payments ∙ Ensures that deductions from the construction bonds are recorded  and processed before processing the refund
COMPLIANCE
Coordinates with the tax compliance team regarding statutory  reportorial requirements related to Accounts Payable
CUSTOMER RELATIONS  (Internal / External)
Provide support to other departments and third parties as needed
OTHERS
Other tasks that may be delegated or assigned by superiors from  time to time
