Seafood and Ribs Warehouse Restaurant is searching for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting accountants with basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks
Reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents and invoicing customers or collecting payments
Assist accountants and other financial professionals with creating and editing financial documents
Evaluate financial budgets and track expenses
Reconcile financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
Processing transactions, issuing checks and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
Draft and report financial presentations
Encoding in Accounting System
Auditing variances
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field with at least 2 years work experience
Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills
Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with basic accounting principles
Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive
Knowledge in Quickbooks is a plus
