ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
Roles and Responsibilities
· Generate and send out Sales Invoice, Statement of Account, Acknowledgement receipts, Collection receipt and Official receipt
· Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment
· Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by telephone and email
· Provide Customer Service Regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments.
· Resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
· Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts - customer calls, accounts adjustments, small balance write off, customers reconciliations and processing credit memos.
· Review vendors account statements and follow up on outstanding invoices.
· Receive Payments and post amounts paid to customer accounts.
· Receive and Verify Invoices and requisitions for Services
· Maintain Listing of Accounts Receivable
· Prepare batches and encoding of invoices for data entry in MYOB (accounting system)
· Encoding and application of customer's payment in MYOB (accounting system)
· Assist the Accounting Officer in the daily banking requirements
· Prepares daily bank deposit.
· Checking and Verification of Daily time entries and Overtime of all Employees during Payroll preparation (every 5th and 20th day of the month).
· Checking of payroll computations every 5th and 20th day of the month.
· Checking of Remittances every end of the month before proceeding to One Hub payment.
· Preparation and Issuance of Delivery receipts
· Monitoring of delivery of all delivery of ATM machines and ATM parts, accessories and consumables of all billable products of ITC.
· Preparation and submission of accreditation requirements of ITC to all customers (yearly)
· Preparation and Filing of monthly BIR Form 1601C (ITC and YFS)
· Preparation and Filing of monthly BIR Form 0619E (ITC and YFS)
· Preparation and Filing of quarterly 1601E (ITC and YFS)
· Submission and encoding of quarterly alphalist of payees (ITC)
· Preparation and Filing of monthly VAT return (2550M)
· Preparation and Filing of quarterly VAT return (2550Q)
· Submission and encoding of SLSPSI in VAT relief system of BIR
· Preparation and computation of Annual ITR of all ITC employees
· Preparation of BIR Form 2316 of ITC employees (almost 200 ITRs yearly)
Qualifications
· Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
· Knowledgeable in General Accounting/ financial reports.
· At least 6 months-1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Ability to multitask and to work well in a fast-paced environment.
· Computer literate
· Can work under minimal supervision
