ARNOCAS is looking for a top-level Accounting Assistant who will report to the Senior Accountant/ Accounting Supervisor; meet the business' needs by attending to client service and Accounting and bookkeeping requirements.
He or she should be able to perform the following:
· Processing Accounts Payables/ Receivables
· Checking, coding and processing invoices and payments
· Encoding journal entries
· Bank and credit card reconciliations
· Processing fortnightly payroll
· Liaise with Practice Managers
· Ad-hoc tasks as required by the Accounting Supervisor
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Ad-hoc tasks when required/ other duties as directed
He/ she must have the following Key Competencies:
· Degree in Accounting and/ or Finance
· Minimum of 1 Year MYOB experience
· Experience with high volume of data entry and invoice processing
· With advanced knowledge of Xero Accounting System and Microsoft Excel
· Minimum of 3 years as Accounting Assistant or similar role
· Extremely organized
· Strong to detail and accuracy
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work autonomously and show initiative
· Excellent and strong written and verbal communication & email management skills
· Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive "team player"
· Excellent time management skills
· Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
· Positive and happy attitude
· Must have a keen attention to detail and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
