Responsibilities:
Preparing end of year tax returns for Australian individuals using accounting software, Handitax
Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS)
Preparing end of year financial statements and tax returns for Australian
Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs); a type of retirement trust. * Using our Paperless system to prepare supporting workpapers Indexes for end of financial year work.
Managing the timely completion of your own allocated workflow
Completing Ad Hoc research tasks relating to the investment and operation of SMSFs per relevant legislation
Updating of files using XERO, including daily bank reconciliations
Assist with management of accounts Payable using XERO
Assist with management of accounts Receivable, including monthly aging report using XERO
Other adhoc duties related to Bookkeeping
Attending workflow meetings with the Australian based supervisor
SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
XERO experience is a must
Requirements:
Accounting Graduate
2+ years of experience in area of Accounting
High attention to detail and organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong independent research ability
With or Without BPO Experience
