Description
Key responsibilities:
Preparing checks, check and AP vouchers, journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting internal audits.
Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
Responding to information requests and assisting with audits.
Checking payroll records
Handling reimbursements
Assisting the project controller as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
Strong bookkeeping and payroll knowledge is essential
2+ years of accounting experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working knowledge of accounting standards.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
Good problem-solving and time management skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with Quickbooks accounting software is a plus.
