Are you a werker?
We seek a talented accounting professional (CPA) with a minimum 3 years relevant experience in a top tier accounting firm
Experience in business services within an accounting firm performing general ledger maintenance and reconciliations of client businesses
Key technical skills required such as performing Balance Sheet reconciliations and General Ledger adjustments to deliver a full trial balance for review and finalisation to Financial Statements
Knowledge and experience in servicing international clients (particularly Australian businesses) will be highly regarded
Experience with major cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, Quickbooks, MYOB will also be highly regarded
Confident, articulate and can demonstrate being a problem solver ready to assist clients in their accounting needs
Excellent English-speaking and writing skills
Able to work collaboratively and openly interact with a professional team
Trustworthy and committed to actively participate in the growth plans of our company
Location: Davao City
We welcome applicants who are Manila-based and are looking to return to Davao and work back home.
Requirements
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or senior accountant
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Relevant certification (CPA) will be preferred
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
