JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our accounting department. The staff accountant's responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. You will also be assisting the accounting manager as needed and respond to information requests by management and for auditing purposes.
To be successful as Accountant, you should be able to accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). An outstanding Accountant should also have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
· Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
· Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
· Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
· Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
· Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the database
· Provide assistance and support to company personnel
· Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
· Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
· Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
· Constantly update job knowledge
 
JOB QUALIFICATION
Job Specifications:
Minimum Educational Attainment: Must be a 4-year course College graduate
Preferred Course: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any Business-related course

Specific abilities, and Skills required: Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills; Customer service oriented, Detail-oriented, Multi-tasker, Organized; Logical Thinker;
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
