About the role ....
The Accountant will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage the following tasks:
Responsible in preparing monthly journal entries such as expense allocations, prepayment, and accrual recognition.
Prepares balance sheet reconciliation schedules and other monthly account reconciliations, propose adjusting entries and ensure correctness and integrity of financial data.
Maintains fixed asset register with lapsing schedule for depreciation for all fixed assets.
Assist with the reconciliation of tax transaction general ledger accounts.
General ledger maintenance
Assist in preparation of Financial Statements such as Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement and Profit & Loss
Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts, defining accounting policies and procedures.
Daily bank reconciliation for all bank accounts and for all entities
Developing and implementing business process improvements
Ad hoc requirements falling under general & tax accounting functions.
About you ....
We are looking for an A-star individual, passionate and competent with what they do and bringing the WOW with the following qualifications:
Graduate of Accountancy or Accounting Technology; Advantage if CPA licensed
With more than 3+ years of work experiences in accounting preferably Australian Accounting
Knowledge of Australian financials preparation (BAS, IAS, FBT Returns)
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
Attentive to details and organized
Good time management skills
