AUREO Hotels & Resort is looking for an:
ACCOUNTANT
QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:
Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or college graduate majoring in Accounting or Finance.
Preferably CPA.
With at least 3 years experience in accounting and finance, and at least 2 years experience as a supervisor or higher.
Knowledgeable in industries involving hotel and/or restaurants is an advantage.
Knowledge of Property Management System (PMS), a software system used by hotels is a definite plus.
Have a good grasp of tax laws and regulations, able to handle government statutory reports, comply with the filing requirements and hands-on experience dealing with government agencies such as the BIR, SSS and LGU's etc.
An excellent team player able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with peers in the department and other company units.
Self-motivated worker, good time management, able to meet tight deadlines and can work under pressure.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Detailed duties but are not limited to the following:
Maintains documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Supervises and assists all General Accounting Functions
Monitors the day-by-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
Interprets the company's financial results to management and recommends improvement activities.
Assists management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.
Creates additional analyses and reports as requested by management.
Prepares the financial, statutory, tax and analysis reports.
Files tax and government statutory reports and remittances.
Prepare audit schedules and assist with annual audits.
