Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain internal accounting controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Review compliance of documents with rules applicable to the respective jurisdiction.
Monitor all applicable taxes, ensuring compliance and timely collection and/or accrual.
Complete period-end functions each period to close the books for the month, quarter, or year.
Preparation and review of all reports of financial statements, ensuring that reporting deadlines are met, and other reports under Phil legislation
Work directly with government, internal, and external auditors to ensure compliance.
Contribute to the preparation of annual revenue and capital budgets, monitor financial performance, and complete annual accounts.
Process daily, weekly, and monthly transactions for the respective workflows.
Ensure all transactions comply with the minimum standards set for documentation and approval.
Handle full financial and cost accounting roles, such as AR, AP, GL, etc.
Assist with the planning, testing, training, implementation, and review of computerized financial systems.
Prepare and endorse payroll, monthly cash flow, P&L per project (Income vs. Expenses), and renewal of government permits.
Ensure accurate documentation of profits and losses.
Maintain a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets.
Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting policies and procedures and efficient utilization of financial resources.
Ensure that employees are productive by providing a motivating work environment, constructive coaching, and counseling.
Arrange, instruct, and monitor the tasks of the administration and accounting team concerns
Rearrange the order of tasks and responsibilities from the most detailed to the most general to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in finance and accounting. ACCA and CPA will be a plus
At least 5 years of work experience in the Chief Accountant role. Chief Accountant Certification is required
Have experience working with Tax Authority.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
Proficient in using computers and computer systems for financial spreadsheets, data entry, and information processing.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Must have demonstrated integrity, self-confidence, energy, enthusiasm, and personal and cultural sensitivity.
