Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role: The role mainly focuses on analysis of Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Reporting. You will be assisting the Team Leader in maintaining accuracy of books of accounts and other ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis. You must have a keen eye for detail, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a focus on high quality. Duties and Responsibilities: The position handles Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Reporting. It is responsible for: Maintaining and updating master data in the system (Customer, Inventory Pricing and Costing) Managing various Accounts Receivable functions such as raising of invoice for the intercompany and re-chargeable transactions Reviewing and reconciling billings from multipliers and distributors and preparing report for payment preparation Reconciling customer service's loading report and actual invoices for Breeders and Semen and communicating issues with various stakeholders Preparing monthly sales summary report Preparing and calculating monthly sales commission, both actual and accrual Handling booking of journal entries for amortizations, depreciation, inventory and other recurring entries during month-end closing Submitting monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation for assigned accounts Participating in statutory, tax and internal audits Assisting the Team Leader in maintaining accuracy of books of accounts Other ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis Must-have Skills / Qualification: Graduate of an Accounting course With more than 5 years of work experience in different areas of Accounting such as GL, AR and AP functions, under a computerized accounting set up Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Powerpoint Great initiative to learn, driven and action oriented Very keen on details Strong analytical skills Above average oral and written English communication skills Can work with minimum supervision and self-reliant Advantageous skills or nice-to-haves: CPA is an advantage Experience on the use of Oracle system / Microsoft Dynamics 365 in an advantage Job Type: Permanent Emp Type: Full-time Location: Pasig City Industry: Agriculture Expertise: Accounting and Finance
