Position Title: Accountant
Classification: Associate
Salary Grade: 30,000 - 35,000 PHP / monthly
Reports To: Finance Manager
Schedule: Day Shift
Background:
As Accountant, you will have the responsibility to support the Finance
Director in managing cash-flows in a planned, organized, efficient and cost effective manner.
Responsibilities:
Fund management including cash flows forecasting
Foreign currency management
Liaison with banking relationships regarding existing and under negotiation facilities
Managing trade finance facilities including:
Efficient utilization of working capital facilities
Document / invoice refinancing
Analysis of financial data
Develop and manage financial models
Develop financial forecast
Evaluating capital expenditures
Create custom management reports based on reporting needs
Identifying financial performance trends and financial risks, and making recommendations.
Support on other projects as and when needed
Requirements:
Graduate of BS Accountancy, Certified Public Accountant preferred
Must have at least 3 years of accounting experience, audit experience will be a plus
Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
Ability to summarize complex financial data in an organized and concise manner
Experience in handling accounting and financial reporting
Detail-oriented with knowledge of IFRS accounting procedures and financial reporting
practices
Understand statutory requirements - SEC, BIR, etc.
Has worked in an ERP environment
Ability to provide solutions for complex issues and accounting problems
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Self-motivated, capable of working independently and meeting deadlines
Good time management and multitasking skills
Can articulate and express his/her thoughts in English
