BMG Outsourcing is looking for an Accountant with excellent English communication and Australian Tax experience. The successful applicant will join an Australian Chartered Tax Advisors .
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare end of year financials of Sole Trader, Trust, Partnership and Company
Performs reconciliation of balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
Ensure assets sold and purchased during the year are properly accounted for
Salary and Wages reconciliation to PAYG summaries
Workcover and Superannuation reconciliation
GST and Tax reconciliation
Prepares adjusting journal entries on clients accounting software
Prepare income tax return for individuals, trust, partnership and company
Prepare monthly IAS and quarterly BAS
Perform bookkeeping jobs on Xero and MYOB when delegated
Coordinates with ATO to setup a payment plan for clients who wish to enter into Payment Arrangement
To perform any other duties as may be assigned by Senior Accountant (tax planning, structure charts, etc)
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years accounting experience in an Australian accounting firm
Preferably with experience with Australian tax and accounting standards
Experience with accounting software - Xero or MYOB
Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills and MS office
Thorough knowledge of Australian Tax
Excellent English communication skills
With high attention to details
Team oriented, dedicated, reliable, responsible and a team player
