Accountant – For Modular Building and Furniture Manufacturer
 
CCM is an Australian company with operations in Australia and Cebu. The company has been established for six years in Cebu as a ‘domestic market enterprise’ and as an ‘exporter’ and has an excellent reputation with both customers and financial institutions.
 
CCM is both a Philippines and Australian market leader in the modification of shipping containers into a wide range of  structures, primarily modular buildings which are rented to local companies and exported. The Company has a strong focus upon innovation and the continual development of new products.
 
The modular buildings include locally manufactured fit outs such as bathrooms, kitchens and living areas. In addition, external features such as decks, awnings and sloping roofs.
 
CCM is also a market leader in the provision of modified shipping container storage modules and rents these out to local companies at its two sites in Mandaue.
 
We are seeking an ambitious accountant who has an interest in the concept of alternative building systems for accommodation, shops, storage and offices.
 
CCM also provides accounting, marketing and administrative services to its Australian sister company.
 
CCM operates from two locations, Lower Tabok, Mandaue City and Pilit, Mandaue City.
 
The successful applicant will be taking over the accounting role from the Company’s current accountant whose responsibilities have been increased to encompass the general management of CCM including its outsourced services to its Australian sister company and to the growth of the business into other areas.
 
 
REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES
The ability to formulate a plan and timetable for reporting and meeting regulatory compliance obligations.
Strong employee motivational and management skills.
An understanding of the importance of debt collection.
The strength of character to manage and communicate with business owners.
Strong verbal and written English.
An understanding of Cost Accounting.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
·         A minimum of five years as an accountant to trial balance level.
·         Strong working knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Peachtree or similar.
·         Experience in small to medium enterprises from the furniture manufacturing industry, building industry or any kind of factory based fabrication.
 
WORK LOCATION
The Company is located in Lower Tabok, Mandaue.
 
WORK HOURS AND BENEFITS
Monday to Saturday – 8.00am to 5.00pm. All statutory entitlements.
