ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
Assist in the month-end closing activities and bank reconciliations
Maintain GL accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances
Assist in PEZA, BIR and other government agencies' reportorial compliance
Assist in tax reviews and do accounting analysis to support decision-making process
Reviews all entries if supported with receipts and/or other substantial documents
Do other accounting tasks as maybe ask from time to time
Qualifications:
Must be CPA
At least 2 years of experience in accounting and/or audit
Knowledge in government reportorial requirements (BIR, SEC and PEZA) is a plus
Preferably but not necessarily experienced with the IT/outsourcing industry
Excellent English communication skills
Organize, attentive to details and meticulous
Capable of working under pressure and with less supervision
Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
