In partnership with Satellite Office , we are expanding our Manila operations and are looking for an experienced, qualified Accountant to act as support for our clients including handling of individual tax returns, small business returns and BAS lodgements. WHAT WOULD THE HIRE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR? Preparation of client tax work papers and returns, maintaining high accuracy and adherence to time-based targets Assist with lodgement to the tax office within lodgement timeframes Completion of IAS and BAS returns before the due date Reconciling and reviewing accounts in a timely manner Assistance in managing client billing of chargeable hours Ad-hoc assistance to the accounting team as required WHAT IS NEEDED TO QUALIFY? At least 5+ years of experience in the same or similar roles Must have knowledge of the Australian Tax System and Legislation Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Advanced knowledge of Gmail / Google Doc, Sheets, Mail, Calendar Experience with Xero Accounting Software is Required Extensive knowledge utilizing MYOB accounting software is highly preferred but not required Experience with Australian businesses is preferred Self-motivated, driven with attention to detail and with a sense of urgency Demonstrable experience being proactive, resourceful, and confident Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City (Temporary Work From Home Arrangement) Interested parties may apply through this advertisement or contact Satellite Office through their career site - http://careers.satelliteoffice.com.au/.
