1. Responsible for determining financial strategy and policy, arranging appropriate funding, managing financial risks in an organization, and ensuring that the company has enough cash, liquidity, and resources to meet its obligations, involving raising funds from banks.
2. To control and manage the bank's money (in terms of capital and liquidity) and to make sure that all parts of the bank can readily access the cash they need for business activities.
