About The Role
Role Location: 12F Solaris One Building Dela Rosa St. Makati City
Role Type: Full-time permanent role
Shift Schedule: Day shift
The Accountant - Portfolio Views will support the financial management of the Markets & Treasury portfolio wide financial control outcomes and looks at financial reporting processes that impact multiple global business units. Some of these items are NTFX (non-Markets FX management), ICT derivatives elimination, and Netting adjustments. It requires extensive liaison with other teams or functions who engage with the Portfolio team for their financial reporting outcomes, including Group Statutory Reporting team, reconciliations and settlement teams supporting Markets Transaction Management, etc. The incumbent will work closely with the M&TF Accounting & Control team, as well as the Group Statutory Reporting team on a frequent basis. He/she will also have on-going dialogue with the FX desk, managing NTFX sell-down processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Markets and Treasury product knowledge gathered through either roles in Markets risk, Markets front office or Markets finance
Good understanding of liquidity measures and models/funding approach/booking models
Strong accounting knowledge of financial instruments/derivative accounting standards, APRA measurement standards, automation skills (Alteryx, Qlik)
Process re-engineering, ability to work closely with staff in different locations/time zones, interpersonal skills to form meaningful and value add relationships with businesses.
