We are a BPO company that aims to provide financial services to our Australian clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Prepares annual financial statements and collaborates with the finance, other support teams and relevant stakeholders
- Delivers quality outputs based on the campaign financial policies and procedures
- Analyzes, resolves and completes monthly balance reconciliation sheets with supporting documents in a proactive and timely basis.
- Assisting in accounting in the GL, annual corporate budgeting, mid-year forecast, business insurance preparation, treasury, checking & approving employee expense, accounts payable processing, reviews lease arrangements & ensures appropriate cash payments, and various tax compliance reporting (Like GST, FBT, provisions, returns, transfer pricing, etc.)
- Trains junior staff members by reviewing their work
- Managing and leading responses to internal or external auditors and tax consultants.
- Monitors and implements the latest updates regarding general regulation, accounting and tax changes requirements
- Reviews pay runs and other employee-related compliance accounting and reporting.
- Calculates depreciation, prepayments, accruals and completes appropriate paper works
- Posting and reviewing journal entries and other transactions in the GL system.
- Generates financial reports related to tax, account payables, receivables, others as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferably a graduate of Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent experience in the clerical field
- CPA
- Knowledge experience or background in any of the following: taxation, multi-currency environment, consolidation of subsidiaries, accounting, general regulatory matters, International Financial Reporting Standard or Australian Accounting Standard Board
- Must be organized & attentive to detail,
- Strong analytical problem-solving skill and process improvement
- Resilient & persistent. Calm and productive even under pressure
- Self-starter & a team player at the same time
- Proficient in English
Computer navigation skills. Has working knowledge on software application like MS Excel, MS Office, internet and email tools and application
Ability to teach, lead and share skills and knowledge related to the accounting field
Always wears a contagiously positive can-do attitude, flexible & adaptive to changes, with a sincere and humble smile
- Able to maintain a high level of integrity and keep confidential information
