We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeping Professional to join our team located in Cebu and Davao. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Australian accounting practices and regulations, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance.
Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
* Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
* Process invoices, payments, and expenses.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Generate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
* Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements.
* Stay updated on changes in tax regulations affecting the business.
* Process payroll and ensure compliance with Australian payroll regulations.
* Handle employee salary payments, superannuation, and leave entitlements.
* Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
* Provide necessary documentation and support during audit processes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
* Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).
* Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
