Qualifications:
Graduate of BSc Degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA certification with a Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience.
Relevant certification (e.g. CMA) will be preferred
Must be experienced in using MYOB, XERO/ MYOB/ QuickBooks, FreshBooks and other Accounting Software.
Proven Australian public practice experience as a
, , accountant and able to work Family Groups with multiple entities * Familiar with public and corporate tax accountancy, not just individual tax returns
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Aware and up to date with business trends
Good experience with AU financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Accuracy and attention to detail with an aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
Someone who can work unsupervised and the ambition to become a team leader.
This is for a day shift role based in Clark, Pampanga
Responsibilties:
Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivables
Able to process business activity statement preparation and lodgment.
Migrate files to MYOB AE electronic workpapers for reconciliation and preparation of financials and tax returns.
Process the files to the review stage with a mix of entities between a family group.
Fringe Benefit tax return preparation.
Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
Able to detect errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
Provide technical support and advice on
Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures
Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
Provide input into department's goal setting process
Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
