We are looking for a couple of Mid-level to Senior-level Accountants to work with a mid-sized Accounting Firm based in Australia. Ideally, you are someone who has had previous experience working for Australian business accounting departments/firms, has excellent communication skills, and has a good working knowledge of Australian accounting standards and practices.
Your client:
Work with experts in the field of Accounting, Tax Planning, Superannuation Fund Management, and Business Consulting! Your client is based in Brisbane, Australia providing services to a range of industries: construction, professional services, real estate, and everything in between.
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
Previous experience working general ledgers for Australian clients
Good knowledge of Australian accounting standards and practices
Knowledge and skills on Xero/MYOB/Quickbooks
Ability to prepare financial statements of companies, trusts, and partnerships
Good background in basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
Excellent attention to details
Excellent business communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:
Prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders
Reconcile balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, ATO balance sheet items
Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Installment Activity Statements (IAS)
Other ad hoc activities
This role will be working in our Cebu HQ office located in Cebu Business Park.
