About the Accountant position
We're looking for an organized and driven Accountant to join our growing team. The Accountant position will work closely with their assigned clients and other operations personnel and handle the day-to-day bookkeeping. We expect you to be well aware of accounting principles and best practices, and be able to perform calculations with keen attention to detail efficiently
Accountant responsibilities are:
Weekly calls for client discussions
Indepth review of cash basis monthly management reports with and without VerifyIQ
Due to due from accounts
1099 assessment
Inventory
Custom reporting
Transaction report review and corrections
Review team member work
Process payroll and record related entries
Accrual basis sales
Check preparation for non-bill.com clients
Balance sheet schedules including fixed assets
Sales Tax Filings
Migrations duties when necessary
Updating admin when cash basis reports are shared
Draft emails for SA1 review using Karbon
Accountant requirements are:
With at least 2+ years of experience with basic accounting and financial practices
Ability to navigate working from home in a results-driven environment
Embrace and enjoy working with new technology
Professional written communication skills
Knowledge of GAAP
Strong team player skills with close attention to detail
Good analytical, numerical and presentational skills
BS in Accountancy; relevant qualifications will be a bonus
