2D ECHO TECHNICIAN
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for preparing patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures and explaining procedures to patients.
Performs 2D Echo-cardiograph procedures with OPD and In-patients.
Perform echocardiograms, or ultrasound imaging of the heart, to evaluate different aspects of the heart
Monitors and maintains patients' comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormal signs and symptoms during and after the procedure.
Perform ECG and Stress Test, and others to measure and monitor the heart rate, regularity of heartbeat, and any abnormalities.
Checks, tests, and maintains cardiac equipment, making minor troubleshooting, when necessary, to ensure proper operation.
Other tasks as assigned by the Unit Head.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
With at least one (1) year relevant experience (echocardiography)
