Your key responsibilities As a GDS-QS team member, you will work closely with EY colleagues in Australia and/or New Zealand to support companies to access Government Incentives that aim to incentivize companies in these countries to invest in innovat Your key responsibilities As a GDS-QS team member, you will work closely with EY colleagues in Australia and/or New Zealand to support companies to access Government Incentives that aim to incentivize companies in these countries to invest in innovation. Drawing on your technical knowledge gained from your education or experience in industry, you will primarily advise and support our clients in accessing Research and Development ('R&D') tax incentives, as well as potentially other government grants and innovation related government/growth incentives. You will be working with a variety of clients at the forefront of technology, including some of the largest global corporations, to evaluate and prepare their Government Incentive proposals and applications. You will work closely with our clients' engineers and scientists and will be responsible for analysing technological aspects of their projects. You will play an active role in developing technical reports of clients' projects and taking part in client communication. This role will require you to work in close collaboration within a geographically diverse, team-based and consultancy environment. It will also require you to have strong technical knowledge, technical report writing skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and project management skills.
