The main role of a Recruitment Resourcer at Hunter Executive is to actively source and select top talent within our areas of expertise, which include, Mining, Engineering, Construction, Government, Environment, Water and Geosciences.
You will work closely with Senior members of the Recruitment team on a variety of roles at different levels, using all the tools at our disposal to source the best possible candidates in the market for our clients. Being active online and maintaining a strong database of candidate, you will ensure a constant flow of high-quality candidates within our areas of expertise, both passive and active.

Key responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and Selection | 80% Total time allocation
Database (Bullhorn)
o Using Bullhorn to source candidates through calling, emailing, SMS and creating projects.
o Create tearsheets (Projects) and keep in contact with high quality candidates within our areas of expertise.
o Ensure candidate details are kept up to date.
o Be proactive in growing and developing the database with good candidates.
Linkedin Recruiter
o Create projects for new roles. Develop longlists and review with a Principal. Send inMails
o Maintain saved search alerts for candidates e.g "open to new opportunities" and "new to Linkedin" within our industries of expertise. Review every morning and make contact as required.
o Use LUSHA (linkedIN add-on) to contact and source candidates directly by either calling or emailing a direct address. If available, this can mostly only be viewed through normal linkedin not recruiter.
o Parse candidates from Linkedin into Bullhorn, create new candidate and add in to relevant tearsheet.
SEEK Talent
o Source and call candidates from SEEK talent for active roles.
o Create shortlists and add candidates in areas of expertise
o Check every morning for newly active an updated candidates in specialist areas and current roles.
o Create candidates from SEEK talent in Bullhorn by parsing resume. Add to tearsheet if suitable.
Boolean Search
o Use Boolean search strings in a google search to source candidates down different avenues i.e Industry bodies, associations, social media profiles.
o Contact candidates via phone and email / add details to Bullhorn.
Advertising
o Using the job description and/or notes provided by the consultant to write effective adverts to attract the best candidates possible.
o Once reviewed by the consultant, post the advert on Broadbean through the open job in Bullhorn. Always considering the right places to post the advert.
o Review applications daily, reject or shortlist then screen any suitable candidates.
Interviewing and shortlisting.
o Interview suitable candidates using the "Hunter candidate interview sheet". You will also ask the candidate additional questions which are more relevant to the position to identify whether they are suitable for the role, and information which will be useful for our client to know.
o Enter all candidate interview notes in Bullhorn
o Send suitable candidates out to be formatted. On return, complete the Hunter resume cover sheet with candidate notes and expectations.
o You may be asked to initially screen candidates which have come from other sources
o Work closely with consultants to develop strong shortlists to submit to clients for review. There will be deadlines attached to when these shortlists are required.
2. Marketing and Social Media | 10% Total time allocation
Linkedin
o Work closely with the Social media and marketing consultant to create content, graphics and post relevant articles, to grow the Hunter Brand and attract more candidates to Hunter executive. Do this through the Hunter page, your own personal page and the Directors pages (on request).
o Actively promote Hunter through relevant groups and associations.
o Build a strong network of connections on Linkedin with candidates in our specialised industries.
Social Media
o Work closely with the Social media and marketing consultant to create content, graphics and post relevant articles to attract candidates to Hunter.
o Work through strategies to increase followers on Hunter Social media pages on platforms including Facebook, Instagram and others.
3. Administrative / Other | 10% Total time allocation
Reference Checking
o Conduct reference checks at interview / offer stage for candidates
o Always try to turn the reference checking into a business development and/or referral opportunity
Retained Assignment assistance
o As well as working on candidate sourcing, Assist Directors and Principals during a retained assignment process with the administrative aspect which may include compiling reports, spreadsheets, reference checking and other data.

-A can do, positive attitude with an appetite to learn and succeed.
-Previous technical white collar recruitment experience - preferably within one of our key industry sectors would be a major advantage
